Great stuff in here everyone, TL I really like the motion in that shot.

This maybe the wrong time to post these or it could be the perfect time. Remembrance of 60 years ago - no words.

G- I'm stoked to see what you come up with man, that's a great shot!

I went to visit my grandma on wednesday, she gave me a camera she got for her high school graduation in 1940. What an awesome gift.

Hey Mello,...

What's the lens you're using? Looks like maybe a prime 60mm? Very cool shots bro.

Fog. Cheers

thanks becky and fog, I used to be stumped when I would see people's shots of comfortable people. People shots have so much to do with the life force of the person taking them, when I took these shots I found that when I was starting to get tired and grumpy it was a lot more work to get natural shots. I guess it's just a subtle thing that developes. Also, To tell you the truth, I think people are more interested now that I have a professional looking camera. Or maybe I feel more confident with aprofessional looking camera so people are more interestied in what I'm up to... Rolling eyes

The lense, it's an EF 50mm f/1.8II ...$69.99!
I like it waaaay more than the kit lense. It's a gas indoors.

Melo, thanx for the word... agree about the force. Exclamation Sometimes I don't even take my cam with me - I just feel that I don't have inside what it takes to do it right. As far as camera looks versus your GREAT personality Smile , I would have to think... I think you are simply a good boy and everyone likes good boys. And it doesn't hurt if a good boy has a nice toy in his hand and taking great photos... Great sets, Melo!

really cute little girl. She was very curious about my skateboard , had great energy and was very animated all the time...

Here are some faces.

Does this count? He's not real.

Waiting to play

So many expressive faces..wonderfully captured in this thread! Very Happy

Congrats Gfro!
My wife and I are thinking about heading that way ourselves in the next year or two possibly. (We want a daughter too, but a healthy boy would obviously be just as loved) Wink
